I dread Tuesdays

Reasons why I am dreading the next few Tuesdays ...

1. I have to teach from 3pm to 9pm.
2. I have Rehearsal from 9.30pm til late.
3. I have to travel from Braddell to Clementi, Clementi to City Hall and lastly, back home to Pasir Ris. ( Time allowance, 30mins to each place)
4. All my bones feel like breaking at the end of the day.
5. My back will hurt.
6. My feet will hurt.
7. I will not eat a full meal at all until I reach home.

On a more promising note, Choreography for JimBeam Dance Competition is finally finished! Now the tough part, Polishing.

Oh well...Train my stamina hahaha. Mental Strength!!

Pricey Crabs and Broken Forks

My parents and I had fried beehoon with Crabs at Geylang today.
My dad said his colleague told him to at least try it once because it was supposed to be VERY GOOD!
After trying....well...Its not too bad la.
The crabs were huge and fresh lor haha.
But its so pricey!! Just a Plate of beehoon with 2 crabs for 3 of us and it came up to a $100 bucks!!
Ang Mo Kio Mellben Crabs also not so pricey lor and more food even.
They charged me ONE dollar for a "Teh Xi".
My mom and I agreed we would probably not return again hahah...

Anyways, Just want to share a cute anecdote that happened at rehearsal....*grinz*

Scenario:Late Night Rehearsal at Jitterbugs

It is Samantha's Pre Birthday celebration. Birthday song has been sung and everyone is eating cake. ("Mini Obsession" from BigO. Try it! Its yummy.)

During our rehearsals, Ahmad likes to tease Bryan that he looks like a certain someone and vice versa...

So, in between all that teasing and bitching today, this is how part of the conversation went...

Ahmad: Hey? At least I don't look like *beep* , you know.

Bryan: What?? Why? You want to fight issit? But you don't even have biceps! *snickers*

Ahmad: Eh! I have a weapon on hand ok! *waves the fork that he is using to eat cake*

Bryan: But you don't have biceps! *shows off his muscles*

*Crack! The plastic fork Ahmad is using cracks because he dug into his cake with too much force.*

Sam: Wah, no need to use so much force mah...

Ahmad: See! I BROKE my fork! You still want to fight?

*uncontrollable laughter*

Marcus: Come Ahmad, show us how strong you are. Break two forks!

Irregular sleeping hours

Good evening,

I've been a pig today. Slept the whole day!
Back's not any better...
Need to go for rehearsal tonight.

Surprise of the day: Someone I had been thinking about sms-ed me this afternoon *wink*. Was not expecting it at all, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Good morning!

Went to teach my intermediate hiphop class at NUS today.
Great bunch of people, I like. *winks*
I always pray they like my class at the end of the day because teaching intermediate is so much more stressful but then it helps to challenge my choreographic skills.

Happy incident of the day : My Whitley Sec students liked my 1st class! Yay! Jimmy Kong (teacher in charge) called to ask for Chapter2's number and he mentioned that the girls said they liked my class...I have been motivated!

Been dancing a little too much lately due to classes, perf rehs and competition prep. My back is giving me problems, sigh. It's hurting quite a bit. Shall go buy some yoko yoko tomorrow and hope it gets better. I swear I'll get back problems when I get old.

Went to Vivocity with my mom after dance and I am so in a shopping mood, but I haven't got my pay for Jan so i'm restraining myself! Ahh..

Read Val's blog just and have just fallen in love with Taufik Batisah's "I promise forever". Listening to the song, I wish I could pick up a guitar, play and sing along...

-BUT-

I have returned my guitar techniques to Yamaha 4 years ago!
Times like these, I get impulses to sign up for piano, guitar AND vocal courses.

New Beginnings

The year is 2007.
A new year, a fresh blog.
Mainly an avenue for some of my creative writings.
A place for me to share some aspects of my life with others.
Also to remind myself of the simple things in life.
I have been inspired to try to update daily if possible, as someone once said...

"I try to update daily because I do not wish to leave any regrets in the future."
