I'm going at it again!

Just did a D&D for Chanel at "The Arena". Simple job, good pay. GTO reunion!

Been teaching and doing rehearsals almost every day for the past few weeks....and this week is pretty crazy. Feels like crazy december again! I'm sleeping less than 6 hours a night nowadays...and starting to feel it working against me. Crazy saturday classes are also going to start this weekend! * Takes a deep breath *

The only thing that keeps me at it is the money that comes in. Need it for my overseas trip...

I am so thankful for having Thursday off this week! ( I had to reschedule Jazz to Wed because I refused to block up my only off day in weeks! =P) Shall go out and spend some time with my mom and grandma! Maybe go attend Bryan's class at night. Really miss attending classes....and I have not done any New Year shopping!

Talking about new year.....I am really looking forward to Chinese New Year....because I get 5 days off to rest! (Not that it's going to be any less busy due to all the visiting! oh SHoot...i'm starting to dread the QUESTIONS!! ) And also my trip to Bali at the end of February! Should be a good break for me. Soak in some sand, sun and sea!! Hopefully meet a hot guy at the beach! =PP

January

Gosh, January is almost over.

I've been thinking that I should just rent an apartment near NUS. I've been travelling down at least 5 days a week for the past few weeks.

My room's done. Still a little messy and not very personalized yet because I haven't got the time to go decorate the walls and decide where all my belongings go. Sleeping on the floor is taking some getting used to but it's still cool. I just need slightly more energy to get up from bed every morning hahah....

Funkamania item and Jazz item is done so that's a big load off my mind. Just need to concentrate on cleaning the dance and being an evil evil instructor now.

D'Hoppers welcome tea went really well, the performance was good and the sign up was even better! mwahaha....watch me tackle a class of 50 beginners next saturday! whee! Next up is Jazz welcome tea. Hope that goes well too.

Shall end off with some publicity.

Death from overwork

Been having a recurring headache the past 2 days.

Have a feeling it's because of the spacers in my teeth. My jaw joints ache like hell and it might be the cause of my headaches...

Feeling very weak and lethargic.

Looked through my schedule from January to Early April. Seems I'm not going to have any off days starting from next week onwards.

I shall kill myself with work!

Managed to get some decent choreography out on friday for rehearsal and I was also quite happy to see a slight improvement in my dancers that day. keep working hard guys and girls! I will try to work hard too...

On another note, some incident has caused me to wonder if I was the cause of a friend's disappointment? I'm kinda affected and I really hope I did not disappoint the person with my decisions. It's just set about a whole chain reaction within myself. Why am I full of complexes? Why can't things just be simpler with me? I'm a mess.

Truthfully, on the inside...I feel like I'm on an island away from the rest of the world.

Inspiration and creative ideas running a little low. Feel very flat and nothing seems to be coming out of my brain.

Been watching lots of Youtube and MTV but still very dry.

P.S. I find it upsetting that people expect an instructor to make miracles. We are not gods. If one does not go home to revise and study after a teacher teaches something in class, obviously one will not improve and do good right? Same with dance ma....if you don't practise, how to look good? That's why we say...go home do your homework.

Weddings galore ( Not mine anytime soon!)

Bought 3 new pairs of earrings and a satin black corset top.

I love my dangly cross earrings and those I just bought are just that! Also been hunting for the perfect black corset top since last year June and i finally found it at Topshop. Shall wear it to Adriene's Wedding if I can find something in my wardrobe to match it with...=)

Now I'm just going to wait for my pay to arrive and settle all my negative spendings!

Talking about weddings, I already have 5-7 confirmed ones for this year. 2 are within the next 2 weeks in fact. It's 2008, it's a nice number and yeah it's about that time to settle down for friends in my age group. I congratulate all of my friends who are moving on into the next phase of their lives with their beloved significant others. May you all enjoy marital bliss and all the happiness that comes along with being married. Stay true, stay honest and stay dedicated!

It's a big commitment. I am not ready for it yet haha.

P.S. There has been this constant irritating issue in my life recently and I soooo want to blog about it. But I've decided not to waste time, words and energy on it because it's so unnecessary. It's going to be off my hands very soon so I'll be very professional about it to the end. Just finish the job properly.

Bryan is back from Japan!

Oh the instructor i heart at the studio asked about me....I am so elated. =P

Finally went back for dance classes and took awhile to warm up to Bryan's styling because I was dancing to a different style for code edge but it was good! Feels good to be back taking classes again...just purely dancing and enjoying it w/o pressure.

I finally went to get the2 ear piercings I have very much wanted ever since 2 years ago. Yisi went with me to give moral support! hahaha but ok la....ever since I went through my wisdom teeth extraction, nothing will ever be more painful except maybe childbirth. =PP It might be the start to more piercings but 2 for now is enough haha.

There were ups and there were downs, but in the end we all did good.

I had to blog this because it was the most hilarious show I did. We all forgot steps halfway thru the item and did some MAJOR freestyling for a good 6 eights in between. Not to mention, they threw some pyrotechnics in our faces w/o warning us in advance at the end. It was luck that our clothes and capes did not catch fire...=P

Made the decision and went to fit braces.
The wisdom teeth extraction before it was Hell.
It will be with me for 2 years, after which I shall be a smiling patient!

Another interesting show. It was a wedding and the bride requested for dancers. She picked a song titled "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" and requested for us to "mingle" as well as pull guests to the dance floor after the closing item. Whee....does anyone find it as amusing as me?

Egg throw
Some idiots thought it was fun to drive by food stalls and throw eggs at random people.
We got hit! A friend got egg on her clothes and hair.
A poor girl got a painful hit on the head as well as egg all over her hair.
They think "Happy New Year!", We think "F*** them!"
